"Le Parc des Princes, completed in 1972, introduced a bold brutalist style that contrasted sharply with Parisian Haussmann façades. Its 50 concrete “ribs” were engineered to create a perfect sculptural shell, unlike anything else in Europe. The project reshaped the southwestern edge of Paris, improving the périphérique and linking the area to Roland-Garros. Over time, the Parc became a symbol of modern Paris: sharp, expressive, architectural. A stadium that feels carved into the city’s identity.
